PRESTO Final Conference

PRESTO final conference took place in Poznan (Poland), on the brink of BUDMA Trade Fair, which was held this year under the theme: Sustainable Construction (http://www.budma.pl).

The Conference was the corollary of the activities implemented within the framework of PRESTO.
It served as well as follow up to previous actions carried out in PRESTO and summarised a balance of results and lessons learnt.

In the first session, a brief recapitulation of activities carried out and results achieved throughout the project was presented.
Furthermore, this session included some presentations which illustrated the state-of-the-art of collaboration links achieved after the High Level Group Consultation Meeting in Bilbao and the plans ahead.

The second session focused on a series of presentations under the motto: “Working together towards a more innovative and sustainable construction sector: European collaboration and opportunities in R&D”. These presentations were aimed at providing the participants with a general overview on collaboration opportunities in Europe and, based on some best practice examples, at fomenting further ideas for cooperation.
